I am a graduate of Williamsburg High School, and attended Northeast Missouri State University for my Bachelor of Music Education. I have an emphasis in vocal music with a minor in instrumental music.I am in my 34 year as a teacher and 24 of those have been spent here at Iowa Valley. Over the years I have had numerous students selected to the Opus honor choirs and to the American Choral Directors Regional and National Honor Choirs.I am currently a member of the American Choral Directors Association, and a registered judge with the state of Iowa. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife Deanne, and my sons Cory and Christopher.
